Royal Searcher
A Royal Caribbean deal-tracking app that monitors cruise purchases and pricing so users can identify price drops and potentially rebook at a lower price.

A quick look at the Royal Searcher dashboard and the flow behind tracking a cruise purchase.
Overview
Royal Searcher is built around a simple promise: help people keep an eye on a cruise purchase after they have booked it. The product connects the watchful part of the experience with the practical next step when a better price appears.
The goal
Cruise pricing can move after a purchase. The product needs to make that change legible without asking people to manually revisit the same booking over and over.
What I worked on
- Swift / SwiftUI
- Royal Caribbean data integration
- Authentication and session handling
- Backend APIs
- Cloudflare and D1
- Scheduled deal checking
- Pricing history
- Premium / free checking intervals
- Alert thresholds and notifications
Technical approach
Build the system,
then the feeling.
The system is organized around tracked purchases, a scheduled checking layer, and a history that gives a price change context. Product decisions are shaped by the difference between a useful alert and notification noise.
Current status
Royal Searcher is currently in development, with the product and deal-checking system being built together.
What I’m learning
Still in motion.
This is an active product build. The current work is focused on connecting a reliable data pipeline with an experience that stays calm when nothing has changed and clear when it matters.
